Ruth is a member of SCBWI and the Colorado Watercolor Society.

She breathes easy in the roly-poly hills of western Iowa with an adorable husband, six marvelous kids between them (with 10 grand-babies!) and a very needy cat. You may also find her gardening, hiking, wildly dancing, and riding her bike really fast in an odd looking helmet. She is often snatched up by breezes and colors and pint-sized things – rocks, leaves, shells, bugs, feathers, and creatures. Powered by dark chocolate, she heartily knits stories together with letters, pencils and paintbrushes. She’s an English artist and writer-in-the-making.
